Hey everybody!
It has been a fantastic Christmas at the Potsick household, I am happy to say! We were excited to celebrate Jesus' birth at church on Christmas morning. Other years we have felt like we celebrated and got good family time, but missed actually getting to be at church to worship and focus on Jesus. He IS the reason we celebrate Christmas in the first place.
I have a very specific prayer request right now that i hope you all will join in with me in praying for. There is a little boy who is five years old in Peoria who is fighting for his life , as we speak. He was diagnosed with a blood disorder that has wreaked havoc on his body. His parents are strong christians and are asking for our prayers for their son. They are desperate. He is currently on life support and they are trying to decide if they are going to take him off and start him on some medicines that they have not tried yet. The problem is, if his little body has some kind of other infection going on, they could risk his life by taking him off life support and trying these other medicines (his liver and kidneys are having a hard time functioning). But, if he does not have any other infection going on, then his body could respond well and he could get better. We are going to claim the second outcome for this little boy. He has been on these machines for about a week and in the hospital for several weeks. Lets start praying and get this baby back at home where he belongs. This little boy's name is Thao (pronounced Tay-oh). And his parents are Jeff and Tiff. They have asked that we pray for wisdom for them.
I also would love to ask for prayers for Aaron as he has an MRI coming up on Tuesday. We believe for clear results and are thanking God in advance for those results. He is FAITHFUL!!
Also, Izzy has been put on quite a regimen of homeopathic remedies and detoxes and we are really actively working on improving her health. We plan on seeing her swollen joints go back down to normal so we are asking that you will pray for complete healing and health for her as well.
I want to keep praying for Mrs. Hite as she continues to battle for her health.
The devil comes to steal,kill and destroy but Jesus came so that we may have LIFE and life abundantly!!! Let's claim life right now, in the name of Jesus!
Lord Jesus, we thank you for LIFE and life abundantly. Father, we thank you for the time of year where we get to remember the precious gift that you gave us. We are so blessed father! Lord, we know that sickness does not come from you...so we bind it up, in the name of Jesus, from Thao, Aaron, Izzy and Mrs. Hite. Lord, we claim your Word that says you took their infirmities and bore their sicknesses and by Jesus' stripes they are healed!!! We thank you Lord, in advance for the amazing results that they are going to get from this new medicine for Thao. We thank you Lord for clear results for Aaron's scan. And Lord, we thank you for the health that Mrs. Hite and Izzy are coming into, in Jesus' name. We love you Father and praise your mighty name!!!!
